Robert's Caesar Salad Croutons
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Loaf of old or freshly baked bread
- 2 1/2 c Olive Oil
- 3/4 c White Sugar
- Parmesan Cheese
- Garlic Powder
- Oregano
- Parsely
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut the bread into small cubes. Place cubes into large bowl. In separate bowl, mix olive oil, sugar and other ingredients (for flavor). Toss bread cubes with mixture, making sure all surfaces are covered (best accomplished by pouring in olive oil while mixing both the olive-oil-mix and bread cubes). Place on baking sheet, bake until golden brown (~25 - 35 minutes). Agitate croutons half way through so that they are toasted evenly.
